When a spine is distorted by scoliosis, straightening, or compromised joint function it is not only the muscle-skeleton relationship and function that is compromised. Nerve and organ function are also compromised. The joints and disc of each joint complex or segment are also in jeopardy of early or advanced progressive degeneration. Under proper corrective care, most spines can be at least partly and sometimes fully restored, the degeneration can be slowed or stopped, and nervous and organ function can be regained. This means improved function and reduced pain with the ability to take on new adventures.
